About Us
About the Con:
We all remember waking up on Saturday, free from the commitment of school and wanting to do nothing but enjoy a well earned cartoon binge. For some of us that was Schoolhouse Rock and the Jetsons, and for others it was Danny Phantom and Johnny Bravo. Whatever our preference, we all loved cartoons and the profound impact they had on us.
However, one thing that we haven’t really seen is a convention for them specifically. Pick a date and you can find a con for anime, video games, or anything else under the sun. We here at Saturday Morning CON-toons want to change that by finally giving such a venue to people of all ages, backgrounds and tastes of Western animation.
We want you to come together to talk about the interesting animation styles of South Park, whether Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny had a bigger cultural impact, or even just how cool your favorite shows are. All in all, we want to have a forum to celebrate all that cartoons have to offer and we want you to join us.
